IMPROVISED TOOL

For those who don't know, this is an angle die grinder and I made some small discs so I could grind off spot welds in the tight areas where the rocker panel meets the floor pan. This tool could be used in a few other areas on car bodies.

You can see the roloc attachment and the roloc discs. What I have here is a two inch disc, the one next to it is about 1-1/4 after I cut it down, then the one below is the home-made one that is about 7/8 of and inch wide.

Just a size comparison here, if you look close at the little one, you will see 3/16 to 1/4 inch is the only cutting area on it. But, this is enough area to cut 4 to 6 good sized spot welds and it really works good.

This disc is as small as you can go with a regular roloc attachment. I didn't try to cut the roloc attachment down, maybe this could be done.

I used a 5/16 wrench and a screw driver and tightened the screw down real tight on the disc and it will form the disc into a little cup.
