I use this with the cherry picker to hold up the complete 12 bolt axle. Just to paint the end of the axle that sticks out from the backing plate, that you can hardly see when the brakes are installed. This is really anal, like most of the stuff I do...but I have to have it right.
Light weight metal blocks I made out of old scaffolding planks to support a car for different heights. Good for exhaust work and other things. Yeah, I know I said I didn't want a lift. Sometimes I lie a little. These hold a one-ton dually, no problem
Tall saw horses I made. I have two more a couple inches higher that my buddy borrowed. I can sit on my roller stool and wheel right under the body....you guys all have one ..don't you? I usually hook a couple of chains in the overhead because it looks shaky although it isn't.
