I would have had more pictures, but I must have mis-clicked and the camera didn't have them on it when I unloaded it. I have a different camera I'll use next time. I'm using a grinding disc here on the edges, getting ready to weld.
I'm hammering out some of the little bulges around the spot weld holes.
Now I'm hitting it lightly with the grinder.
When I cut out the piece of metal I just showed you in the previous picture, I got carried away and cut it tight to the rocker panel flange so I made up this new piece of metal and used poster board as a template. The metal I'm putting in is .034" thick as are the floor pans.
