I used the air rachet again to start the screws like I did on the floor pans earlier.

A reminder that my marks are 8" from the center of the support to a spot on the other pan.
After I put the sheet metal screws in I verified where I wanted to cut it, marked it, took the sheet metal screws out, then cut it.
You can see where I cut it here the width of a thin 3M cut off wheel. Make sure you cut it at least that wide, because when I started welding it, it drew in a little on me. And I couldn't get my little clamps in there in a couple of spots, so I had to take the side of the cut off wheel and open it up a little bit.
